How’s the Market?

This is one of the most common questions I receive. Here’s what we’re seeing so far in March:


• More listings are hitting the market, yet we’re also seeing an increase in pending sales compared to February across most areas of the Bay Area.

• Despite interest rates holding at 6.5%, the market is showing strong movement, with both buyers and sellers actively engaging


Move-in-ready homes are selling significantly faster than properties needing updates or construction work.

In my experience, today’s buyers fall into two main categories:

1. Move-In-Ready Buyers – Families looking for a home that requires little to no renovation. With high construction costs and a shortage of skilled labor, many buyers are willing to pay a premium to avoid the hassle of permits and renovations.

2. Builders & Cash Buyers – Investors and developers seeking opportunities to customize or build new properties.
